Privacy Policy
Who we are
Viewframe is a window and door visualisation tool built for UK homeowners and installers. The service is operated by the Viewframe team and can be contacted at hello@viewframe.co.uk.
Your photo
When you upload a photo of your home:
- It is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server
- It is passed to the AI detection service (Anthropic Claude) to identify windows and doors
- If you use AI Transform, it is passed to Replicate's image generation service
- It is not saved to disk on our servers — the image exists only in memory during processing and is discarded immediately afterwards
- It is not used to train AI models
- It is not shared with any third parties beyond the AI services listed above
The AI services we use (Anthropic and Replicate) operate under their own privacy policies and do not use your data for training by default.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum needed to operate the service:
- Usage logs — we log when AI detection is run (timestamp and count of elements detected, no image data) to understand how the service is used
- Shared layouts — if you use the Share feature, the window/door layout (positions, styles, colours) is saved with a random ID so the link works. No image data is stored in a share
- Waitlist emails — if you join the installer waitlist, we store your email address to contact you when a place opens
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics scripts.
Third-party services

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we don't store images or require accounts, there is typically very little data to action. To make a request, email hello@viewframe.co.uk.
If you joined the waitlist and want to be removed, email us and we'll delete your entry immediately.
Data retention
- Photos — not retained (deleted immediately after processing)
- Shared layouts — retained indefinitely so share links continue to work. Email us to delete a specific share
- Usage logs — retained for up to 12 months for service improvement
- Waitlist emails — retained until you unsubscribe or we contact you
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
